Interview with Leo Drozdoff and John Laird (1)

“Well, you are it,” said California Governor Jerry Brown and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to John Laird and Leo Drozdoff in August 2011, referring to the leadership role they were being asked to take on the states involvement in the Tahoe Regional Plan update. John Laird, California Natural Resources Secretary and Leo Drozdoff, Nevada Department of Conservation Director have made building a positive rapport between the states of Nevada and California a priority for the past year. Their efforts have been to make the states a “helpful, productive force in Tahoe” says Drozdoff in this interview. This is the first in a four-part conversation featured at Tahoe Project.org.
