As the "new generation" can be thought of as one of the 'next' as well, my comments with regards to the triad of Clem interviews can be expanded to include, based on Darcie's expressed interest, two distinct areas of growth & change for them.

One would be the introduction of the No Child Left Inside Act legislation introduced last summer w/ over 140 bipartisan supporters, as a national environmental education initiative, of benefit to Tahoe's blue & green future.

The other would be the same "framework for strategic sustainable development", both as a softer approach to change, but also to "integrate science into sound policy decisions". Resource science is not 'rocket' science (given other work with Sandia Labs), so a framework based on the irrefutable science of thermal dynamics geared to soil, water, air, and materials would put the League into a much better profile, re: global sustainability principles, vis-a-vis better facilitated collaboration/cooperation.
